MIBR will notably make an appearance in the first event as they look to qualify for the PGL Stockholm Major against domestic competition.
CBCS will host the first two Regional Major Ranking (RMR) events in South America, the Brazilian tournament organiser announced on Thursday. The first of the two events, called "CBCS Elite League", is set to commence on April 22 with a 16-team Swiss group stage, and will culminate with the playoffs from May 13-16. Notably, MIBR will return to South America from an extended stay in Europe to compete in the event, in which they will be the highest-ranked side in attendance.

9z, who impressed in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown on Thursday with a shocking victory over Vitality, will also be in attendance, with the likes of Sharks, DETONA, and Isurus filling out some of the other invite slots. Two spots in the event will remain open for teams from a closed qualifier, which is currently underway.
Details are sparse regarding the organiser's second RMR event, which will run sometime between July and August. Both events will utilise the same format, offering points towards the RMR leaderboard, with only the top-placed team from South America qualifying for the PGL Stockholm Major. MIBR are currently leading the region's ranking with 80 points after topping the 2020 RMR standings while playing under BOOM.
